1997 BMW M3
112k Miles (had it since 80k)
Silver on Black vaders

The paint of the car is in extremely good condition. THere are some signs of highway driving, but other than that it looks great. 1 hater scratch on the rear but its barely noticible.

The interior is in good condition aswell. THeres some wear on the vaders but only at the bolsters. no tears.

ARIZONA car all its life. NO rust or anything of that sort.

Mods and maintenance within the past 10k miles:

Mods:

CSL reps with 255/35 and 225/35 (not sure) (1500)
Ground control street/track kit. adjustable ride height and rebound, front and back (1300)
Rebuilt and powder coated red calipers (350) and new cross drilled rotors/pads (400)
Custom made quad projector headlights (these cost 1000 in materials alone), E46 bixenons and angel eyes
OPTIMA yellow top battery (150)
Clear foglights.(100)
Stage2 UUC LW flywheel and Perfrmance organic clutch (1400, 2 months old) (NO RATTLE!! unlike most owners. only sometimes when the AC is on)
Understeer short shifter and all corresponding bushings replaced
Stromung Exhaust and cold air intake ( these are 2 yrs old)
740iL rear view mirror
140 amp alternator.
Kenwood cd receiver.
OPTIMA yellow top battery

Maintenance:
USed tranny with 50k installed 2 months ago (1000)
New driveshaft and corresponding bushings (500)
ALL bushings at the rear of the car have been replaced, even wheel bearings. story behind this is located in this thread. the car was in a fender bender back in january, bumper wasnt even replaced, only resprayed. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=648649
NEW cooling system (water pump, thermostat, engine fan) (maybe 4k on it) minus radiator
Pulleys and belts have less than 15k on them

Extras:
Retrofitted 19 button (or 21? not sure) obc, up from the 11. fully functional.
Arm rest and matching center console


Potential problems:

Airbag light is on. Code says passenger occupancy sensor gone bad.

I have a folder of records from the previous owners, that apart from repair bills include 2-3 years worth of aftermarket warranty.


Reason i'm selling is because i'm moving out back to europe. I was in college for 4 years and i was going to stick around for 2 more years to get an MBA, hence the recent mods, but i decided against it since i'm almost 25 and want to start working:)

Not sure I'll get a response but where did you get the CSL reps? They look amazing! Also, any thoughts on the price you would like to get for such, as you put it and I totally agree, a tastefully modded M? Interested.

sorry for the delay but i have been very busy. i updated with price and a few extras. turn signal is a little off because the clip that holds it on the headlight broke. its an easy fix.

so... i left the car with my buddy... and a week later he called me after he had just taken it out for the first time and loved it... and now sale is pending lol.

i'm glad all the money and effort i dumped into it will at least be enjoyed by a friend.
