Hello all - for sale is my Holset H1E turbocharger. These turbochargers are originally intended for diesel motors, but they provide a lot of fun on gasoline engines as well. They're really durable, and this particular turbo has never let me down. This particular turbocharger has had its cold sider compressor housing powder coated silver with a clear coat to make it easy to wipe down (this was on a top-mount setup on my car). The hotside was ceramic coated, but the car sat for about 3 - 4 weeks and it looks like some surface rust formed. I did have an oil leak at the oil feed which might have cause it as well. Either way, you can either have it re-coated or not worry about it.

The turbo has approx 15-18k miles on it and there is ZERO shaft play. I know a lot of people say "no shaft play..." but I mean it - this turbo doesn't budge inward, outward, or side to side and spins completely freely and I literally drove the car 70 miles today before taking it off, boosting about 15 - 16 psi on the motor.

This is a LARGE TURBO! It is a T3 Flanged turbo with I believe a large 18cm^2 housing (18 stamped on the exhaust housing). The compressor wheel is perfect and the exhaust wheel is as well. Exhaust wheel has a whitish powder color on it due to my running methanol in the car, I believe. If I don't run methanol it's an ordinary black wheel. Nothing wrong with that.

Again, its a very big turbo probably capable of over 450 - 500 hp easily... lots of torque because of the open large hot side. Its journal bearing, so if you expect 20 psi by 4000 RPM you won't get it with this unit. This turbo spooled 15 - 16 psi by about 4500 rpm on my BMW 525i.

I am looking to get $350 OBO + shipping for the unit. You can hit up ebay and see turbos in condition far worse bringing in more. If interested let me know!

The inlet is a 3" inlet and the compressor outlet is a 2.0" outlet. The flange is a T3 divided flange and the outlet took a standard T4 4 bolt flange and I ran a 3" down pipe right off the turbo.
