Spring rates?

mitchelrl

unsure of the spring rates. I'm going to call Edge tomorrow and see if they know. I have the invoice for the install, so it shouldn't be a problemo.

I keep asking myself that same question honestly...especially when I could probably pull 1,000 out of my KW's.

6" spring or 7" spring? PM sent.

mitchelrl

Yeah....

There's not a snowflakes chance in hell of these things leaving my car. I pulled my KW's off tonight just to see what all of the hype was about with TCK, I realized that it's not hype at all, it's backed up, tried and true. Good Lawd!

While I still like KW's and would recommend them to anyone looking for performance and ride quality, these TCK's are perfect for what I have ahead of me.

WTF was I thinking? =P

I am interested.

But which set of coilovers are you going to sale?

Let me know dude.

KW's are officially for sale,

KW Variant 2's, 450lbs spring up front, progressive in the rear. Great CO setup, the TCK is just better for me.

I'm offering them for 1100 installed locally. make an offer.

:lol

KW is more of a showy suspension setup, it has wider adjustability out of any other coilovers (biggest drop if you're into that) and can get down with the get down when you need them to by going full stiff.

What I don't like about them is that you have to use their swaybar links instead of OEM. ( I didn't run a front swaybar when I had mine...didn't need to really ).

I REALLY like their anti-rust treatment, they clean up VERY well.

It's a very good introductory kit all in all, but it's definitely geared towards road performance and daily drivability.

Will do, going to have to wait until Monday for a shop to pull the code for me since I dont have the scanner. I'll deffinitely inquire about any parts that I may need off of your parts car (if it won't be a pain to pull out too)

on a more serious/related note, are those KW's actually for sale? those are the coilovers I've been wanting (along with tcklines) but was leaning towards the kw since I'll be using the e36 for street purposes more than track. (and if they are, DONT put up an ad! haha)

Thanks.
