P.M. me for details. I have basically a part car that I was aiming to be a restoration project. Got pretty deep into dis-assembly and realized that it just had too much body work to be anything more than a parts car. I was fairly new to 02's when me and the family decided on the car and failed to research what we needed to. Most of the essentials are there. Seats were toast, but clean dash and what not in terms of interior. Engine has 70,xxx on it(no idea what work has/has not been done). It ran well before we started destruction. 4 speed what worked well. Good cluster, speedo cable, yada yada yada. Pics to come. I would prefer local pickup, but since i know that practically noone on here lives too close to me, i am sure we can work a shipping situation out. That is, if anyone wants anything. Cheers buds.

P.m.'s and emails sent respectively. Not too sure what you mean by the lower nose cone, but there is trouble areas in areas surrounding the headlight shrouds. Not realy horrible, but attention is needed.

i am trying to remember off the top of my head, other things that were good. Seat belt assemblies and accessories. Wiring harness. yada. Cheers.

i mean the area on the lower portion of the front end....below the grill area. you cant see it from 10 feet becuase the bumper is in the way. if that helps at all?

She didnt go down without a fight, but after it was out, it furthered our suspisions that this is merely a parts car as there was much hidden rust. Hah.

Still have alot of stuff we are willing to part with, request a pic and it will be posted as quickly as I can. Keep in mind that I dont really want to ship large bulky items as that can be a bit of a hassle. But tail lenses and seat belts and all that jive are cool in my book.

Chris

I'm looking for the small parts in this pic, not the actual strut bearing. all the washers, including the conical shaped ones. How's the steering box? Thanks.

Deuce,

I will look into that today when i make my way to the garage.

Nitro,

Brakes worked when it was on the road, not sure whether that solves your question. I can take a pic of it for you if you wish.

I didnt see any leaks when everything was assemblied, I will post a pic a little later.

Deuce,

Removal of upper strut bearings would include removal of springs correct? Again, pardon my ignorance, just trying to clear things up. And I will also take a look at the steering box when I make my way to the garage and post a pic.

Chris

Hi Chris,
I sent you an email, but have had bad luck with forum emails before so this is going to be a double.
I live about an hour south of you in NC and am in need of a good hood/trunk lid. Also, how many miles on the engine/tranny?
Do you still have the rear axles?
How about the chrome beltline trim on the driver door? And last, what kind of wheels did it have?
Thanks,
TK

Hood and trunk I am going to hold on to. Engine/tranny had aprox 75,xxx on it, rear axles are intact. I am pretty sure the trim is also intact. I have the standard steel wheelies on. Feel free to hit me up at 757-646-7936 and we can see what else you want. Anything that gets it out of the garage I am cool with.

Chris

Nitro,

The pic you requested. Looked solid when i yanked it.

Deuce,

You will have to give me some time for that hardware. I dont have spring compressors handy, and am unsure as to whether or not I am comfortable doing somthing like that. I will definitely get back to you on that though.

Chris

I could use one of the four black plastic lever tips on the aluminum heater control panels. Let me know if you have them and what you might be asking. Many thanks in advance!

Zinder,

Sorry for the long hiades, are you talking about the small little tip that goes on the end of the throw switch? If so, I have one yes. How much would you like to pay for it. Couldnt imagine it could fetch all that much.

Hi I'm new and dumb, but very impressed with yours and some of the projects i've seen here, and I hope to do some myself as I go along. the shift linkage is missing on of the 8mm hex head bolts that attach it to the tranny, I hate to send off to a parts house for 1 2-3 dollar part that I could probably find locally if I knew what what size and thread count to get. Maybe you could help. thanks bob

wow nice project, I hope to learn to do some similar stuff to our car. I'm new and dumb, but maybe you can help. my shift linkage is loose because I'm missing one of the 8mm hex head bolts that bolts the linkage to the tranny. I hate to order a single bolt from a parts house that I could probably get locally if I knew the length and thread count of the bolt. Maybe you could pull one out and let me know.. thanks if you can help, bob

I'm new here, and tried to reply to your post and for some reason it did not go thru, it said that I was the last to reply, but it didn't show up in the content, well I'll try again, my 76 shift linkage is loose because one of the 8mm hex head bolts are missing that hold the linkage to the tranny, hate to send off to a parts house for a 3 dollar bolt when if I new the length and thread count I could probably find something locally. would you have time to take one out and let me know what I need. I'd really appreciate it if you could. thanks bob
