officer = license please (i give him my license)....didn't ask for registration or insurance

officer = are u registered to this car??

me = yes

officer = so the car is registered to u??

me = yes

officer (while handin me my license) = u kno u crossed over 3 lanes on a major state highway??

me = yes, im sorry

officer walks away, gets in his police car and shuts the lights off.....i signal to drive off while my g/f is tellin me not to cuz i was gettin a ticket

i drive off not knowing wat just happened

am i gonna get a ticket in the mail??? i mean, if i was...was he suppose to right me one?? and we didnt have our seat belts on and he didnt say anything about that either

hrm, in my experience, they have always left their lights on, until they wanted you to leave (IE after writing me a ticket or not).

yea, once the lights go off, your good. if he wasnt done w/ you he would have chased you, and then proceeded to rip you from the car. just consider yourself lucky he didnt feel the need to ticket you.

i would think the cops in union have better things to do at 3am in that area

he was just checking things out I think. he would tell you if you're getting a ticket in the mail. you're good. just dont get pulled over by him again.

btw you're not allowed to cross 3 lanes? how did you do that? Did you pull onto the road into the slow lane instead of the fast lane?

If you're not familiar with 22.... there are stores and stuff all along it, including in the median. So crossing three lanes across 22 to get somewhere is not uncommon, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing to do. But at 3am I don't think he would be posing much of a threat

He was just checking to make sure you were not drinking. It's common for them to ask the same question over and over to see if they smell alcohol on your breath and if you'll slip up on the answer. He ran your plates and already knows who the car is registered to. I guess you got lucky on the seatbelt thing.

Oh, and yes crossing three lanes at once is illegal. You have to signal a lane change, pause, signal for a second lane change, pause, then the third....

i agree

but that's nothing

I GOT PULLED OVER BECAUSE HE THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO RUN IN TO A PARKED CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! THAT'S NOT IT... THE INTERESECTION IN WHICH HE THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO RUN INTO A PARKED CAR... HE WASNT BEHIND ME UNTIL 3 BLOCKS LATER, THEN PULLS ME OVER TO ASK WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT!! I'M LIKE WHAT?? 'IT LOOKED LIKE UWERE GOING TO RUN INTO THAT PARKED CAR"???:eyecrazy WHAT??? "EXCUSE ME???".... WTFF?!?!?!??!?!? :mad

:shifty

i'm selllin' my e90 after the winter man.... it's not even a "ballin type car" but it's been the same nonsense before and after i put my body kit on....

I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE.. I HAVE HAD 2 MUCH HARRASMENT FROM THESE COPS... IT JUST NEVER ENDED.. yeah... as everyone tells me DWY&B if i had known i would run into so much times gettin pulled over n shit.. i would have waited till i moved and was able to afford an M no matter how long it would take...
