I have a friend looking at a 2005 M3, SMG, Comp package, 15K miles. How much is it worth assuming it's in perfect condition?
Thanks.
Thanks.

View Full Version : How much for a 2005 M3? bmwbonehead 11-17-2007, 10:54 PM I have a friend looking at a 2005 M3, SMG, Comp package, 15K miles. How much is it worth assuming it's in perfect condition? Thanks. ohnoes 11-17-2007, 10:57 PM $40k-43k? bmwbonehead 11-17-2007, 11:00 PM Thanks. That's around what I figured. Any options/features or lack thereof that would sway the price up or down? ohnoes 11-17-2007, 11:02 PM Not really. Maybe fully loaded would boost the price a bit, or any rare color combo. What's the color combo? All maintenance records (shouldn't be much at 2005...you would hope) will also help a tad as they are an indicator of an owner enthusiast. bmwbonehead 11-17-2007, 11:07 PM Don't know the color yet. I'll find out. Will obviously need to have all the maintenance/service records. ohnoes 11-17-2007, 11:12 PM Don't know the color yet. I'll find out. But nothing beats seeing and driving the car in person... I didn't even bother to look at KBB, Nada, or Edmunds when I gave you my original figure; take a look at those as well, though for whatever reason the E46 M3s I've seen are currently selling a bit below those values. Maybe the colder weather? Oh, and more pics of the beast in your sig? :devillook bmwbonehead 11-17-2007, 11:47 PM Definitely post more info and pics when you get the chance; it would help us make a more accurate appraisal. Don't have the front spoiler anymore and I tinted my taillights. Long story with the name. One of the members on M5Board made it up. Part to do with my occupation and the fact that the guy has the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy (i.e. childish and sexually oriented):stickoutt ohnoes 11-18-2007, 04:15 PM a little off topic on prices but what are the most rare color combinations?? and does it really affect the pricing?? Yeah, as with any car, the more desirable the color, the higher the price will be. Supply and demand. I'd say silver on gray leather is probably the least desirable. Imola is in fair demand, I think. Avus and other rare E46 (sometimes Individual-ordered) colors are in higher demand and their prices will be higher. How much, I don't know. Thanks. It's changed just a little bit since those pics. Porn star, of course.:D bmwbonehead 11-18-2007, 04:42 PM Okay. Just found out the colors. Black on black. Not sure which black, but I guess that won't make much difference in price. |
