Anyone know out there, were would one hook into to put a mechanical oil pressure gauge on a 74 stock 2002? carbureted model. Also, how about a mechanical water temp gauge showing degrees, not electric if i wanted too?

you need to replace the sender that's used now...at the rear of the engine, next to the distributor...for a mechanical sender with the tube fitting to run back to your gauge...google is a good place to start

Having an oil line is the car is a really bad idea. I have see those plastic tubes break, and then hot engine oil is pumped into the car. A dasngerous mess. Use an electric gauge.
