So Ive had this memphis amp for around 6 months after it survived a terrible crash......it worked well, then died. I dont even want to go pay to find out whats wrong with it, my question is do you think 1000watt amp is too powerful for two 10" Memphis subwoofers

I have two in the box they came with.

Depends on which model memphis amp. The power reference series, no its not too powerful. The M-class amp, yes its too powerful.

The M-class is 1100 watts at 2 ohm. I own that amp.

Im not planning on buying a memphis there kenwoods I believe.
