car was apparently in a few accidents, also salvaged title in another state now a clean title. I'd buy it if it were closer so I could go down and inspect for myself.

The car is more twisted than Courtney Love! Had some fellow enthusiasts check the car out and it is thrashed! Buyer-Beware! :nono

Can someone link me to some of the previous threads about this car? I know it's been wrecked but bimmerfreak said the car was in great shape in spite of its history

Even a part out to put it out of its misery would provide a decent profit.

Here is some additional info I posted for the guys in the E30 M3 forum:

Hey guys, that is my old M3.
I have received a ton of PMs from prospective buyers asking about the history of the car, so I will just post it here so my PM box doesnt blow up

I traded my 840Ci with HRE wheels (trade value was around 13k) a few years ago.
My original plan was to use the car in club drives, DE, and AutoCross.
I never really had a chance to set the car up for this, as my business requires 105% of my time and efforts.

The car had spent most of it's life in Chattanooga and North Georgia.
Brian F. from FasTech http://www.fastechmotorsports.com/motorsports.html built this car, was responsible for the change from red to Daytona Violet.

(from what I remember during my ownership)
The paint and bodywork is very high quality. Interior is complete and in very good shape.
AC does not work.

The car was wrecked at least twice (from what I gather) with most of the damage on the right front and right rear.
From what I understand, it was spun into a guardrail.
Again; body and paint looks great. I cant remember ever seeing any rust or rot.

The car pulls like a beast (stronger than most S14 motors I have experienced) and runs well. The car does run rich, and its not something I would want to sit in traffic with, or commute on a regular basis.
Fast, loud, and smelly....just the way god meant it to be.

One issue is there may be an issue with the right front shock tower.
While the car tracks straight and true, I could never get the camber 100% correct.
This may be caused by the frame or shock tower being off or askew.

This car may have some issues (salvage history, non stock paint color) which will never make it a concours winner, but it will make one hell of a club car or weekend toy.

I ended up trading the car to a guy in NC for his ZCoupe.
I dont know how long he owned the car, or what his ownership experience was like.

Here are a couple of threads that feature better pictures than what you see in that autotrader ad:

nice pictures on page 2

I hope this info helps you guys. Good luck!
