Nothing but top tier premium! gbelton 11-19-2007, 01:57 AM Can you burn regular gas in a 2007 650i Yes. You will have excessive engine knock which will in turn cause you such a high cost in engine repairs, you are better off spending the extra pennies. I'm definitely NOT a tech, but I'd guess a relatively hi-strung motor like that would not do nice things to your wallet if you run regular. If this is the result of an argument with your wife about the cost of fuel, report back that you really, really do need to go to pump that says 93 on it. If you are really worried about the cost of gas, I'd either either grab a beater car for the useless miles (the Jetta TDI is fantastic on fuel - 44+ MPG - a very nice used one can be had for $14K or less) or move to a different car altogether. kellie 11-24-2007, 01:46 PM For your reading pleasure: http://www.toptiergas.com/ Because carbon deposit build-up is related to fuel quality, it cannot be considered as a defect in vehicle's materials or workmanship. In other words, BMW's warranty will not cover engine damage caused by use of gasoline not recommended by BMW. |
