I am getting a nice price on Personal and Nardi Steering wheels. If you don't know about them, they are becoming increasingly popular in the Spo-Com tuning scene. The steering wheels are made in Italy and come in a variety of different trims (Leather, suede). They are high quality pieces that add style and sophistication.

Here are a few examples:

Personal Grinta in Black Leather w/ Red stitching (comes in 330mm and 350mm) $205 Shipped

Installed in a 350z

Grinta in Suede

Personal Neo Eagle in blue (comes in 330mm and 350mm)

Another alternative to the quick release hubs that everyone has is Workbell. Already being used on top JDM racing circuits, these have been race proven and are favored by many top Japanese drivers.

Works Bell Quick Release hubs (Black/Red/Silver/Orange/Blue) $305 Shipped

If you want to add something a little different to your BMW, this would be a great replacement for those "bus sized" steering wheels!

I will update this thread with more wheels from Personal and Nardi as demand and interest increases. Feel free to PM me about prices on other wheels not shown here.

I suppose the craftsmanship in making the quick release's reflect the price. They are a very nice high quality piece.

Do they have any flat bottomed models and can they do tri-colored stitching?

Can you get the stitching in any different colors? I like the grinta, but not in the red? Can you use the momo hub adapter to fit these in e36s?

I don't believe that Nardi does personal stitching. They are a large company and unless there is a demand for them, I don't think it would be worth it for them to mass produce a tri-color stitched wheel. Its probably possibly for a upholstery or leather shop to modify a wheel for you.

Yes I believe they come in a few different colors (red, blue, yellow). I will find out more info.

I think I can drum something up.

Very Interested would like to know about fitting a different hub adapter though.

I am 99% that it will fit most conventional hubs.

I will see if I can put together a kit. If anything I'll slap a hub on one of my cars w/ steering wheel and take a pic :)

Can you do a side by side of the two wheel models? I can't tell the difference (other than material type and stitching color) between them in the pictures shown.

I believe that a momo wheel adapter or something comparable will work however a adapter piece needs to be purchased in order to mate both the hub and steering wheel.

Momo hubs can be found for around $80. The adapter piece is $40. I am going try to work out a package deal.

adapter? which piece is that?

when i had a quick release setup on my old car, it was.. wheel mated to the qr, with the bottom half of the qr mated to the hub that was connected to the steering column.

the layout for how the qr bolts on is what's most important, from the 6-bolt layout picture you can tell that it bolts on to the momo hub setup. you can see the same layout on the personal steering wheel.

I believe Nardi, however, has a different layout so it will not work with the layout from momo hubs (if memory serves me correctly)

hope this clears up some questions for the vendor

correct, Nardi uses a different 6 bolt pattern. Nardi however does sell an adapter plate to adapt the momo hub to the Nardi steering wheel.

I am going to test this out and get back to you guys. I am sure it will work though.

just want to affirm the fact that Works Bell QR's are some of the best out there in terms of quality and build, there's a reason why imitations have a setup similar to these..only 2-3 other companies with top quality qr's in Japan/Europe that I can think of off the top of my head at this time

Doing the best I can with what I have. To give you guys the best prices I'll have to do a buy in personally. I'll have to stock 10+ steering wheels myself, to get this done is no easy task.

I'll have something for you guys soon.

Finally have the $ to pick up a set, what do you think a good black/blue wheel would be for a E36 328I Montreal Blue? I trust your judgement lol. I dont want to much blue you know? Not trying to re-blue my interior or anything like some ricers.
