My E39 528i friction point is very high. I gonna adjust it, but it's totally different with Japan vehicles when I looked at the driver side under the panel.
Does anyone know how to adjust the clutch for my car?

Please kindly advise this information, Thanks

AFAIK, the clutch is not adjustable on our cars.

The clutch is not adjustable with the exception of all or some of the '97 model year, maybe '98 as well, 528's. What year is yours?

Is there no adjustment on the arm going from the peddle to the master cylinder? That would surprise me. I have an auto so I can't enlighten you on that, although a "high engagement" would indicate a worn clutch.

Maybe what you're experiencing is just a delay in clutch engagement that is typical if your CDV is still in place. Many people here remove the CDV to obtain a more direct feel of the clutch engagement, although mine still engages pretty high.
