Hello everyone I just joined this site yesterday. I just purchased a 1995 540i 6Speed manual built Oct1995 104k... I am unsure if it has the Alusil engine but I hope it does. I currently live in Japan but I'm from Michigan and I'm getting stationed in Illinois at Scott AFB(30mins from St.Louis MO)... I plan on picking it up in Michigan in January and Driving it to my next base. I had my father test drive my car and take it to my uncle who is a mechanic he checked it out in pretty solid condition other then a slight oil leak from the valve cover which I think can be replaced with a new seal. and a slight transmission leak, which I'm worried about but it will be taken care of before I come home. anyways just wanted to say hello and look forward to seeing some of you guys at the shows and meets!!!!
