i have already left the car overnight with the dealer for this but they couldn't replicate the problem and the computer showed nothing wrong. basically, after i start up the car and then go to a stop light and sit for 30 - 60 seconds and then hit the gas the car hesistates before going into 1st, like being stuck in neutral and then shifting hard into 1st. the hesitation seems to be a function of how long i have been sitting. the problem is intermittent and goes away after a few minutes of driving. any ideas what this might be?

If you are stopped on an incline, this is normal. This is to keep the car from rolling back with the 6smtm. I have the atm and it also does this.

my car is not at an incline when this occurs.
