I'm in need of new tires, and I'm looking for something that will get by well in the snow but also offer good dry road grip. I don't really like Contis (I have Conti Touring Contacts now). I was thinking of some Pirelli P6's; my dad put them on his E500 and they seem to be very good tired (much better than the Contis his car came with). Are there any other tires I should consider? I have an '01 330i with 205/17's

Well if you're asking for winter tire suggestions I would suggest a bridgestone blizzak lm25.
If you're asking for an all season suggestion I'd suggest a Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S.
But I wouldn't interchange winter tires with All season tires.
In other words I wouldn't assume that an all season tire will do as well as a winter tire just becase it's called an "all season" tire.
