sweet.. I'm gonna get the M5 badge and throw it on my truck.

seriously though.. there are some good things there:
m5 rear plate filler
front and rear calipers
shift surround

basically, the whole car.. in pieces.

I was wondering how long it would take for this to surface. Guy's not very smart, though -- who dismantles sport seats? Or the engine, for that matter? It's a $4500 engine, even with a cracked front timing cover. He wouldn't sell me the flywheel, either...stupid.

I was wondering the same about the engine. If it was running why split it! DUH!

yeah someone already bid the beat to hell console panel and boot up to the price of the last group buy... makes no sense when It needs recovering to look decent.
Shift knob is so faded and worn it isn't even worth the $10 asking price

I saw this yesterday and thought the exact same thing. WTF? I think he did that to hide its real condition. The engine was beat to hell, it probably has 200k on it which is why he's parting it out as piece rather than a whole engine.
Plus all the parts I want are already bid up.

do the m5 calipers bolt on directly to a 535?

Supposedly the car was in a front impact, cracked the timing cover. Who knows, the interior parts' wear indications seem to suggest the mileage (167? k) is accurate. Who knows.

You can buy them new for like $90. Without delamination.

Yeah, but you're gonna have to bid against me to get 'em. Hehehe.
