Hi everybody,

I am a German Bimmer-Maniac and have a couple of question. I consider buying a 335i Convertible to be exported to Germany. But have no clue on the available options in Northamerica. The bmw.us website was not of much help.

I would like to get:
- M Sport package (this might be the problem)
- Leather and all the other goodies

Do you have any links or docs on that? Will the 330d/335d be launched to US/CDN? And where do you feel should I buy, in US or CDN?

Thanks a million for your help!

Greetz from Germany
Peter

Why in the world would you buy a BMW in either Canada or the US just to export right back to Deutschland? You like paying taxes? Is it that hard to get an E93 in Germany? :rolleyes Might as well sign up for "European Delivery".

Canada prices are significantly higher than US prices right now. That would factor into your decision. As far as I know, diesels are not available in the US. Nor is the M Sport package.

And, of course, if you get a US-spec car, you'll see a nice speedometer calibrated in MPH. Not too useful in Europe.

Good luck with that. The website is http://www.bmwusa.com

No one else smells a troll? too many inconsistencies (335i convertible, then talk of 330d, 335d) and the whole premise doesn't make sense as ibimmer346 (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/member.php?u=134101) indicates. But then I could be wrong!

Troll or moron. It's a fine line but there is a distinction.
