I've been wanting a set of ACS Type 1 rims for a while. Finally, there is a set selling here:

I understand this is nowhere near the proper offset for an E36, but I'm not afraid to give these a shot if I have half a chance to make it work. For anyone who is familar with these wheels...is there a chance of machining some material off the back of the center section to increase the offset a little? That would help a bunch without having to get crazy with the fender roller. I'm hoping to run 245/40-17 tires...Bilstein struts with H&R sport springs, Kmac camber plates. Am I setting myself up for a huge disappointment here?
It just really seems like I'm pushing my luck with the rears. If I could get the offset closer to +30 I would feel a lot better.
