Just got some new Falken RT165s and went a little smaller up front since the Falkens run bigger. I went from a 245/45/17 to 235/40/17.
Now my car is pulling slightly to the right (just had an alignment prior to tire change). Is my alignment screwed up again since I changed the tire size?

No. Alignment will not be affected by a change in tire size. Have you checked the tire pressures?

Tire pressure at manufacturer settings. I am leaning to the car needs a realignment. Since I had the car aligned previously there may have been compensation added for my other sized tires. Now that Ive changed width and aspect ratio I probably skewed it again.

Maybe, when you got it alligned (on the previous tires, worn tires, I assume), the left / right tires were worn differently (example, left tires more worn out). The allignment compensated for it, but now with new tires it's out.

You can certainly have the alignment checked again, but that's not what I would lean toward for a pull.
My experience has been that many times an alignment doesn't cause a pull issue at all.
I would have them swap the tires right to left and see if the problem moves to the other side...or stops.
There's such a thing as what's called "radial pull"...basically this can be a misalignment of the plies inside a tire and if that's the case will cause the tire to pull your car in that direction...and this is common in NEW tires as well as older ones.
So take it back to where you had the tires installed and have them swap it left to right...if the pull goes away or switches then they should replace the tire for you at no charge. Although it's not a safety concern (unless of course it's pulling really hard) it's still a manufacturer defect and should be addressed.
