View Full Version : Do you know how to bid or buy in Ebay.de? Mr 535i 11-13-2007, 08:54 PM Show me! Dark Schnitzer 11-13-2007, 09:00 PM SImply open 2 windows....one with Bablefish translator...the other with Ebay.DE......copy and paste the info you want to read and then ask questions to the seller the same way. Its not perfect...but works. Be sure and be logged into Ebay (USA) before you go there (to DE)...then scroll to the bottom of EBAY US and click on GERMANY....that way you stay logged in and can save/watch auctions. Best of luck to you friend !!:buttrock VInny Mr 535i 11-13-2007, 09:09 PM Cool! clevertd 11-13-2007, 11:21 PM I find google language tools a lot more accurate than babelfish. slocar 11-13-2007, 11:27 PM Sad thing is: a lot of these guys are not willing to ship overseas. :( lowell 11-14-2007, 01:36 AM The more difficult thing about buying on German ebay is payment issues. Sending money via bank transfer is defacto over there, but impossible to do from here unless you have the appropriate bank account, and most sellers won't accept paypal. attack eagle 11-14-2007, 01:48 AM what are you looking for? perhaps someone can point you to a US source? glwillia 11-14-2007, 06:35 AM Bid is "Bieten", and buy it now is "Sofort kaufen". What do you specifically need to know? Better off with a M-tech 2. Look for "Weltweit" in ships to and only buy if the take Paypal. If you have a B of A you can do a "Uberweisung" bank transfer for around $10 I think. Dark Schnitzer 11-14-2007, 11:04 AM I always make the effort to ask the seller if he/hers willing to ship to the USA ? Many times they've said yes.:alright....So don't be afraid to ask. They want to sell their parts just like us and its really no harder for them once boxed. Just don't wait until the last day to query.:shifty The payment hurdle can be as easy as buying a small item from a vendor WHO DOES take Paypal.....befriend him/her and have them act as your broker. You could always give them a handling kick-back for their time to help the arrangements. Think outside the borders box...as it were, lol:) Cheers,Vinny e30wanted 11-14-2007, 03:16 PM If I can help, I have a Brother in law who llives in Switzerland and my cousin plays B-ball in Germany. They always come home for the holidays and ship stuff all the time here. If you were desperate I know we can work something out. As mentioned above, shipping is not that big of a deal except for the customs forms, that is what I think people dread. If they want to sell it then they will be more than happy to work it out, just dont expect it in a very fast delivery though. Jon Mar 11-14-2007, 04:22 PM when on ebay.de url, replace the .de with .com when you have found your item. Makes everything a whole lot easier. Also babelfish is the key to success. been buying from ebay.de few times with no problem. But they don't seem to like paypal very much yet. Just ask them about paypal and shipping. I've found more often than not they are cool with it. What would it cost (to ship to the US)? -- Wieveil kostet der Versand nach USA? Courtesy of Erich (Shogun). He's actually German, so... been buying from ebay.de few times with no problem. But they don't seem to like paypal very much yet. Dude, you're in Iceland. People in Germany have no reason to hate you. Unfortunately, not so much the case with us in the US. |
