can't decide- they both fit-can't wedge my fat ass in anything smaller than these except a Sparco Pro 2000, and just barely
any thoughts? experience with either one?
I will still be driving to the track, sometimes very long distances

I have EvoLs (Evo2s) and I like the Imolas better. The Suzuka GTs are even better IMO and not that much more.

I have an Imola II (passenger) and a Suzuka (driver) and the Suzuka is definitely the better seat.

I've got 2 Suzuka GTs in the car. Have driven many miles in them (Houston to El Paso RT, Houston to Denver, etc) and they are very comfortable.

Agreed. Got a good deal on em new. Most of the old guys that ride shotgun still complain its too small. :cool
Speaking of this and Sparco vs. Cobra, I want to replace my driver's side EvoL with a Suzuka.

JClark-
I've got a regular EVO in black I'd trade you for your EVO-L, it is in good shape but is too small for me. Send me a PM if you're interested.

+1 to this. I've ridden in John's Suzukas and they are very comfy yet hold me in well.

I have to vote for the Suzuka GT's too.
My best friend has a Suzuka on the DS and a Suzuka GT on the Pass side, and they are definetaly some of the nicest seats I have even had the pleasure of being strapped in. And if my dad can fit in the GT (6'4" and ~220lbs) I think that most could.

Suzukas are awesome but fitting 2 Suzuka GTs in an E36 is tough unless you have taken out the door panels. I've got 2 Imola GTs in my car and I'm very pleased with them. I do a mixture of street and track with my car.

I didn't find it too tough. I've got GTs on both driver and passenger side. The passenger side is really close to the door panel, but if you work with the height of the seat (it sits really low) then you can get it to work.
The driver's side is easier since you have to offset it to the center of the car anyway in order to center it on the steering wheel.
It doesn't really matter which way you go though as none of the options presented are ever a simple bolt-in procedure.
