I have an S50 head that I am building up. It is missing 2 of the cam tray studs and all the ones I find are 95mm, the ones in the head are 100mm. I called Stickley, Rebello and Tinney but no avail. No one has heard of or seen this in a BMW head. Does ANYONE have a source for these? The 95mm studs are too short. I may HAVE to use them if I cannot find anything else but I would always worry about it. BTW it is for a street car, my DD.
TIA

Weird...the etk indicates they were 95mm throughout the S50/S52 production run. The stud shown is p/n 07129901481 which is an M7X95 stud bolt.
The euro M3 used an M8X105 stud bolt (p/n 07129908095).
I can't find a 100mm bolt anywhere in the system.

Was the head rebuilt previously? Could the builder have used a non-oem 100mm stud?

The has never been touched until I sent it out. I did get the 95mm studs to work... Kevin, VMTECH tapped the trays down completely into place. This allowed the stud enough thread to get the nuts over the caps with thread left over. Weird... the studs looked exactly like the 95mm ones, just longer in the center, the threads were all the same.
