View Full Version : FS: NEW Sachs Performance Suspension Kit E36
craig.m 11-13-2007, 12:17 PM I have a BRAND NEW Sachs performance suspension kit for the E36 325. It may fit other vehicles, but I am not sure. I bought this kit after a lot of searching/research on BFC. I never found the time to install it, and now I'm seriously considering selling my car.
This was purchased from bavauto.com about 8 months ago, part number 118 107. Check the site to see if it fits your car.

I'd rather keep the whole kit together. But we'll see.
kpipalldaway2 11-13-2007, 07:44 PM do u know if any of this kit will fit on a 96 328?

The kit for the 328 is 118 149. As you can see, they have several things in common...it looks like only the front shocks are different. The front/rear springs and the rear shocks are the same.

craig.m 11-17-2007, 01:03 PM You won't find this kit cheaper, anywhere. I think bavauto is the cheapest, $680 without shipping. Ebay is about the same (although as of this morning ebay doesn't have any).
Reasonable offers entertained.

It's supposed to be 1.2-1.4 inches IIRC.

Did you try this? Put in your car info, search for "sachs" and see if you get the same part number. If you don't, it may fit, but you'll have to look into it.

irollt5r 03-10-2008, 10:48 AM does this fit an E36 M3?
This kit will fit an E36 M3 if you mount your front swaybar to your front control arms instead of to the strut. The struts in this kit do not have the strut tab that M3 struts come with.
There would not be any issues as this is a nice kit. I do have this setup on my E36 330i, however I currently have a 25.5 mm E36 325 sport package swaybar in the front (which has a larger diameter than the stock E36 M3 front swaybar).

Thanks for this information. AFAIK this kit will also fit the 328 no problem, but the front struts in my kit have a different part number than the 328 kit. I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes.

I have this kit on my car. I wish I had done some before and after measurements. Since I didn't, I can't be sure about the drop, but the shop that installed the kit for me said it was only like a 3/4" drop, not 1.2 - 1.4" like I saw someone post. *shrug*
a554255 04-15-2008, 07:33 PM still have it? very interested
