I'm looking to replace my steering wheel and found the how-to details in another thread.

However, I'm looking for information on how to disable the airbag light after the wheel change. I remember reading somewhere that one can use a resistor to trick the car into thinking that the airbag is still connected, and will result in the airbag light not being on all the time. Has anyone heard of this and if so, can you provide information on exactly what resistor I can use?

TIA!

Here's the link to the thread which mentions the 3.3 ohm resisor and what to do w/ it. I've had my Momo Race wheel installed since January but haven't gotten around to doing anything about the airbag light. I'll probably tackle this little project when the light really starts irritating me, but for now I just ignore it :)

;) No problem! Just make sure you let me know how it works out when you do it. I do want to do this someday but for now the light doesn't really bother me.
