My mom has a 2007 328i Coupe and is really uncomfortable in the seats. At the time of the lease we didn't consider the sports package since it didn't seem like something she'd want/need, but after her frustrations with the seats, she tried out the sports seats and liked them a lot better.
Do you guys know where I'd be able to buy a pair of OEM Sports Seats in Dakota Gray Leather? I've looked through the online OEM catalogs but can't seem to find them. We've also asked the dealership for a quote, but I know they are going to quote us way over list price.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated... thanks!

It will probably be too much $$ for what it is worth and don't count on recouping anything at resale. Just my 2 cents.

Wow, Mom wants sport seats. VERY UNUSUAL. 9 times out of 10, it's the other way around. The sport seats are more narrow and firm and uncomfortable for most people that aren't petite, or are older.
If you do a search, you will find quite a few complaining about sport seat being uncomfortable so if it's an easy swap, might find someone to swap it out.

Agree. You would definetely have to fork over the $ unless you can find a totaled 3 coupe with good seats.

Calabasa. Bob Smith BMW I take it. I know that region where you are from. I think you might have some trouble in the Calabasas region but look further south. I know further down there are more people with 335's which might want to trade. Good luck in your search finding the seats, wish ya the best. I know there will be some one wanting to switch theirs out or trying to get some newer seats if they are parting their car but it will have to be a while down the road as more people get their 3 series with the sport pkg.

What she really does not like is that there is not enough leg/thigh support and it's actually hurting her leg (she already has a bad knee). She drives in my TSX and my dad's G35 coupe a lot and doesn't have that problem. I wasn't with her at the dealer when she went back this weekend, but they told her the sports seats have a lot more support for your legs.
If it is true that it is often the other way around, maybe I will be able to find someone that wants to trade the seats. But I'm going to take her back to the dealer and make sure she test drives a coupe with sport seats so she can be sure she likes them better.
Thanks for all the advice guys!
