i have a 1989 525i and the drivers seat is out of wack, my mother was (sitting) driving the car and tried to lean the seat back all the way and now i need to fix it, do i need to take the entire seat out and will i be able to get it back on!

Welcome to BimmerForums! I don't quite understand what's wrong with it, but I have taken the seats out of my car before, and the install is easy as long as you don't lose the bolts and and get all the wires plugged in right. Post this in the E34 5 Series section for a better answer.

If the seat is twisted you need to do the cable repair.
