Hey guys, I come from the Supra forums and I am looking into getting an ///M3. I have a few questions and would be much appreciated if they were answered.

1.) When buying a used ///M3 what problems / issues should I look for?
2.) How many miles does an average ///M3 take before she dies?
3.) How many miles does an average ///M3 take before the leather starts to show signs of wear?
4.) What factory options should I look for / ignore?
5.) What factory colors are rare (including interior)?
6.) What is the most popular CSL replica company (non CF)?

What year M3 are you referring to?

sorry the E46 pref 2003 - 2005. That brings me to the next question.

1. Nothing major ... everything is well documented here though.
2. No M3 has "died" and they are pushing 150k miles
3. Depends on usage and size/shape/weight of the occupants
4. That's personal preference ... mine was loaded, others have their cars stripped.
5. The only color that was discontinued mid production run was steel gray (which was replaced by silver gray). The rest of the colors were available up until '06 when Pheonix Yellow and Laguna Seca blue were dropped.

9.) What would you guys say a 2005 BMW M3 Jet Black w/ Cinnamon Interior, (minding that the "additional options" were moderate at best) 15,000 Miles, and No Mods cost?

Also, Topaz Blue was available 2001-2003 and replaced in 2003.5 - 2006 by Mystic Blue
