Ok, so as many of you know or dont? im a lazy bum when it comes to fixing my 2002. It's difficult to find time to fix it especially while I work and go to school full time. So yesterday on my day off (i thought) i would finally have time to do some work. Than my boss calls me and asks to work saturday, and im currently at work on sunday. So i had a couple hours, I bought a new fuel pump, battery and negative cable. The one in the 2k2 looked very dangerous as it was really old and the wires were not coverd by any insulation. So now when i get outa work at 3pm today, im gonna install it, buy some gas and hopefully it will finally start, and not die. Also in my findings yesterday taking off the fuel pump I noticed that the choke on the car was disconnected from the carb. Can anyone tell me where to put the cable?

This sounds like a small thing, but i've been putting off buying a new battery and fuel pump for i have no idea...maybe a year.

Also can anyone tell me where to get pretty much brand new wiring for my car. The wires are all fooked to hell. Its so disorganized and in the end i really wish i bought a different 2002, but i learn young, and got ripped off by a member on the board.

It started, IT STARTED IN A HEART BEAT!!!! I mean, we got the fuel pump and battery installed and all the wiring and what not, turned the key on accessory, heard the fuel pump start running, let it do its job for about 1min, than literally with 1 turn of the key the m10 started up. It was running strong, car isnt streetable since there is no plates and what not, but i drove it around my neighborhood to get the air flowing in the tires and get the oil moving in the engine, I hit 40 and cruised at it with no problem, shifting at around 4k rpms, this car hasnt been running in months! It made me so happy, and i got so happy that I got my inspiration to fix this bad boy up again. :D

there ya go. You can actually clean up your wiring and retape it. Or be Like Keith and take it, soak it and clean it. then re tape it.
