Hey everybody, thanks for reading my post. Today I woke up to find my 1994 318i smashed on the back drivers side corner of my car. My car sustained a dent in the trunk with significant paint damage and broken tail lights. No bumber damage. I was struck by a construction pick-up truck. I only have liability however I was lucky enough for the driver to have left his company information.

Judging by the pictures, what would be the total damage for repair? I understand it is difficult to estimate with pictures alone, but if anybody could give their two cents it would be much appriciated.

The trunk lid could probably be found out of a junk yard or something and repainted for about 100-150. The tail light would need to be replaced so whatever the cost is for that. I don't see any dents on the rear quarter piece so looks like just some sanding and repainting. Probly another 100 or so max.

I'd say no more than $400 worth of damage depending on who you take it to. Not like it matters anyway, their insurance is gonna pay for everything.
