it was hard to do because in park lights mode it gives out pulse modulated signal to angel eyes. you have to use a capacitor and diode to drive a relay that switches ballasts on.
i will do writeup soon if people are interested

edit: i know i suck at photographing :-(

suck doesnt begin to describe your photography. But I give you an A+++ for the light switch. That looks incredible. Great job

p.s.: who's the chick?

I've gone blind. This comes to mind, but substitute with for without ;):

this is schematic for connecting HID ballasts. you cut both wires that are coming from light module to front headlights near light module, simulate bulbs with resistors and take info for relay from one wire. because of having pulsed signal on angel eyes in park mode you have to add a diode and a capacitor. then you use original wires to deliver clean +12 volts to headlights where you can connect your ballasts.
there are two wires that are same colour at these connectors, make sure you cut the right one. i did not open up connectors to get pin numbers as i did not want to have mistakes present when they connect diagnostics to my car next time

light module is situated in left footwell

light module, unscrew two 10mm nuts

here you make all connections with relay and resistors

here you have clean +12v signal

here you have all connections done and wiring secured back. beware: resistors will heat up significently! be sure to locate them so that they wont touch anything. if you are not that lazy as me you can mount them on metal surface to have maximum cooling

angel eyes are these corona rings round inner and outer elements in front lights that are lit up when you turn on park lights, i dunno, i cannot explain better.
the 35w H8 bulb is changed out and xenon bulb replaces it now

Ha, that's funny... "What are angel eyes?"

Those pictures of all the spaghetti look pretty scary to me though. I don't know if I'd be up for messing with all that. I still don't quite understand how you modified your angel eyes though. Did you buy something like a PIAA or LUX LED light replacement or something else? Can I do it with my 335i sedan? I might be able to study all the colored spaghetti and figure it out, but it's still scary to look at... especially knowing that it's a $47k car.

Hello there,

Just wondering. How did you mount the front license plate? This looks like it's bolt on but there are no screw holes on your plate. I purchased one of those recreational vanity plates and just don't know how to get it onto my car.

Please advice. Thanks.

He replaced the OEM H8 Halogen Angel Eye bulb with a HID H8 Base Bulb, crazy idea, never would've thought anyone would do something like that, props. Must be crazy bright, get some better pictures.
