Has anyone taken a test drive with a car that is equipped with the "Active Steering" ?

Any thoughts or opinions on the handling?

I got a test car in March to drive for the weekend and it had "active steering". Can't say I was overly impressed for the money. Have to admit, I spent most of my driving out of town on country roads so it might be useful in garages, tight quarters, etc. When I ordered my car, I opted against.

test drove a 2006 330i with it. It felt tighter at slower speeds (e.g. less input to navigate a chicane). Didn't get to play with it too much, but in the bang for buck dept., it would end up at the bottom of my list still, there are many other options I can get for that money that are more worth it, but if I had enough $$ to load a car with all options my heart desired, I'd get it.
