ok, without breaking the bank. What do I need for fuel management on my m44 set up? I will be running a neukin manifold with a 6psi external wastegate, possibly increasing to 8psi later. What will I need for management since as I understand it is difficult for a close loop to have any type of management? any info would be great. thanks! also, I was told I need to replace my afm with one from an obd2 m3? any info, again, would be great. thanks. btw, I am planning on running a t3 45trim turbo with 2.5" piping. Please dont flame me either. THanks

Get a split second FTC-1 and MAF conversion. You can get any size MAF you want. I would recommend the 3.0" MAF. I think the MAF and FTC-1 will run about $400-500. Full timing and fuel control. I use the 4" on mine. call them and tell them your goals. They will work with you. SIMPLE install! Laptop programmable.

wow thats awesome. So I get the MAF and the FTC-1 from them? I just went to their website, however it would seem that I see alot about 335 and others, however if I get their 335i MAF converter this will work?

thanks for the info though, and how about megasquirt for a piggyback only type deal? ie. only to control the fuel curve?

Absolute cheapest way with with a Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator. Only about $200. If you are only going to run 8 psi you might be able to so that safely with no change in timing. MSD has a Ignition coil that can adjust timing per boost pressure. Check that out.

perhaps, Id rather go with the splitsec or equiv., but I only needed to know if that would also work for the m44 which is a 1.9 litre.

also, another question, the MAF sensor goes in the intake of the turbo, or does it go inline with the piping before the manifold?
