:help I have two 15x7 Panasports I bought off someone here about a year ago and I can't find another two. If anyone has any 15x6 or 15x7 panasports for sale, contact me. I might even consider a set of 4 and just keep the other two as spares. My Gray e21 looks good with them on it but with only two, it looks dumb.

Put them on one side, and two other wheels on the other side. You get two distinctivly different looks for the price of one! You can't see both sides of the car at the same time. I bet it would be 6 months before anyone noticed.

yeah and it'd be interesting to drive with one side weighing more than the other.

Seen that exact rip done when I worked at the Nissan stealership. You'd be amazed what we got away with on the used lot and how little people really pay attention.

Wouldn't FWD stand for front wheel drive?

Oh and for the wheels on one side... there was a guy in the area Bob Idea, a local hot rod legand, who was building Tucker kit car street rods and the one he built to show off had hot rod hub caps on one side with white walls and the other side of the car had 22" wheels with low pros. It was kind a cool

Correct me if I'm wrong... but as far as I know that König wheel is designed for Toyota Corolla Trueno/Levin AE86 (RWD/FR).

You might also want to check Superlite wheel; they have a similar design. A.K.A. Minilite for Mini though.

I've got the Konig's on my car. They required a minimal spacer in the front to clear the struts, and probably ought to have a more substantial spacer in the rear, but i wanted to wait until I got my rear camber kit in first to figure out where things ended up.

RWD vs FWD is just a matter of offset amounts. 15 and less is RWD. 20 and more is FWD or so.

I do not want to run spacers. I want the right wheel for the car. I'll wait if I have to.

Do you know you have the right wheel already in the right centerbore, etc? You haven't mentioned the offset that you want.

If you order a set, you can contact tirres.com where mine came from and they can special order them. They take around six months to arrive. They came bored for the e21 and I ordered them in et15. They were well worth the wait.

That is one of the reasons I want them. I have the same gray e21 as yours and with the two wheels on the back, its looks awesome! I bought them from a fellow e21 guy so they fit perfect. I just need two more.

Let me know JT if you ever want to unload those 2. I would love to have them as spares. 15"? Right? Same as on my car in my signature.

Btw, bad news on the '78. When the cam gear came off the valves kept running and damaged all but one of them. Had to have them replaced and head redone. And if that wasnt bad enough. When I was told to run high quality injector cleaner for 10min, the oil pump was NOT throwing oil so the brand new bearings were ruined. So all new main and rod bearings, rings, oil pump gear and oil pan gasket. I'm hoping it's done but 1st of the year. He's also going to replace the exhaust from the new header all the way back. Just having the head done and the car all put back together was $700. Now I'm sure we're up to a grand or $1200 and I already bought the parts separately and had them shipped to him. The only GOOD news is that it will be done and done when it's finished. Then I have to get back up to Minneapolis to get it and bring it back to Springfield, MO. where I live now.

Btw, anyone have a NEW oil pump they wanna sell???

Good to see ya all!!! :buttrock

pack racing sell superlites from performance wheels if you would settle for a different manufacturer. http://www.packracingproducts.com/acatalog/Pack_Racing_Products_Superlite_Wheels_2.html

Actually, I wouldn't mind those - $165 isn't that bad since some of the Panasports are over $200 per wheel.

Marinersfan - sorry to hear about that. I had a feeling after talking with you the last time and then speaking with your mechanic, I knew the valves were wacked. At least you know its going to be done and you'll be back on the road again shortly! Good luck to you.

Performance Wheels (http://www.performwheels.com.au/) have one or two wheels that will work.

I say keep the 2 you have, and order a pair of 15x6 for the front. Still cheaper than a new set from another brand

performance wheels make the above style if you are interested in a set.

They make both a 15x7 and a 16x7 in a 15mm offset, so they will fit the E21 fine. Can get you a price on a set if you let me know what size you are looking for. 16x7 is roughly $240 a wheel new (with bolts, caps, etc).

What about the 15x6 and the 15x7? I'm thinking about staggering.

Madhatter

they make both. Though i have no problems at all running 15x7's all round. Even run a 195/55 on the front

Sorry, my fault. You were offering prices on the wheels so I was asking if you had prices on the 15x6 and 15x7.
