Im getting a 335i coupe in about two months and i think im going with the monaco blue.

Can anyone reccomend me some good looking wheels that will also perform well.

I want the car to look classy (im young by the way so it will be used so impress) as well as have its performance at the maximum, so let me know what you all reccomend.

I don't mean to be blunt or rude but if you are going to use your car to impress people, you better cancel the order and get another car.

You can't impress anyone with your car if you yourself don't have any substance. If you have no substance to back yourself up, people will only be impressed by your CAR and you will just be the deck chair that sits in the background of a photograph.

If you want people to like you as is, keep the car stock and don't get any wheels. There are lots of haters out there who will think no less than to damage your car especially if it is a 335 coupe.

Come on, we all know that chicks dig cars. If we weren't a little vain about our cars there are plenty of ugly cars that are cheaper.

Check out the wheels section of this forum, there are a few very hot wheels for the 335.

Who's impressed by a 3-series in Los Angeles? Aren't they a dime a dozen? They certainly aren't the flashiest cars, and wouldn't be the car I picked to show off. I picked it because of how it drove and the fact that *I* liked it. Nobody gives a second glance at BMWs around here.

At 18 I'm pretty sure that a 335 is a nice car to have..and even out here in LA people still appreciate nice cars.

My 3 year old 350Z got more attention than my buddies E55.

you get more response if you drive a civic with a loud exhaust. People don't look at BMWs at where I live either. It's just a regular car

dont worry, im not expecting women to fall into my lap cause of my car ( im gettin my share with my old ass toyota truck now), i just want it to look better.

If i wanted a car that i wanted to show off and put big shiny rims and all that, i would get a Chrysler 300c. The reason i want the 335 is for the performance and because i love to drive. Thats why i want a wheel that performs but still looks good.

I think the 335 coupe's sport pkg wheels are hot. I wouldn't dare put different wheels.

If you want performance, these wheels weigh 16 to 18 lbs each. They are the Kosei K1 (up top, thanks Terry) and the D-Force LTW-5.

Or you could just go to an online wheel store and use their "View Wheels on Vehicle" option. I just checked out TireRack, and they had 116 different wheels for your 335i coupe.

I like the wheels on 335's. I have the sedan and haven't seen suitable wheels yet unless you pay the huge price for them, but the sport package are great. Want to go bigger tires though in back, around 275 would sound nice....actually it will look nice. BIG AND CHUNKY in the back....before you place tires on the car, I would say drive your car around a bit to settle in and then replace the car so you know how much wider you would like to go in the rear for the new rubber. I think the 255's are good but not great for handling.

Who are you trying to impress? You may want to spend the money elsewhere and may get better results.

Monaco is a loud color. You may want to check resales It may resell well in LA but wouldn't do as well in the plains.

I got Montego Blue and Grey Dakota Leather and love it because it is different. Have not met anyone who has not liked it. Have had BMW sales guys taking customers out to my car to show it off. I did not want another Silver BMW, dime a dozen around here.

LOL, who the hell buys a car and worries if they will find a buyer for it? I love Monaco blue, and I couldn't find one with a 6MT.

And for those not living in SOCAL, cars are a statement out here.

This is very true, and from what I understand, ppl are as impressed with a 3 series as they are a Camry. If you really want to impress people with your car you're going to have to get something that not a mere $50K. Sorry, but outside of a 7 series, I don't think you'll have much luck in the impression department as far as a BMW is concerned.
