You know that silver molding around the windows on a black 530i, I notice some of you have gone black, what's that "molding" called and where can I get the black, it makes a big diff...like on chief's car for example..
Thanks

I tell you before you get flamed, you can go to the dealer and pay $200+ or get the black out tape made by Trimbrite at your local pepboys or autozone for $6. Welcome aboard!

I used the blackout tape on mine and I'm satisfied with the end result. As long as you take your time with it you can make it look really nice. It helps to remove as much of the trim as possible before applying so you can tuck the edges of the tape around the back of each piece to ensure that the tape wont come up...

yea, save yourself the money that the dealership will charge and just use the trimbrite blackout tape. $12 for 2 rolls from amazon.com:D Take your time with it and use a sharp razorblade to cut off the edges. Here's a pic of my car with the tape.http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p268/ducky328i/Monteagle%20Run/107_0551.jpg

$132 will only be for one side if you are getting that price from the dealer...... The tape works well if you take your time and dod it right..
