Model HO112R-W7 :buttrock

Like new condition 12w7 High Output Wedge enclosure by JL Audio. This is one of the biggest, baddest subs commercially available. If you're looking at this then you probably know what this is. If you don't, check out JL's website for complete details:

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_enclosures.php?menu=1&prod_id=294

This was mounted in the back seat of my e30 for the last two years. Due to an engine project the car only got about 500 miles during that time, so the box/sub have seen very little use. Since then I have decided that this is too much power for my taste, so I purchased a 10w7 in a sealed box.

Both sub and box are included, I'd prefer not separate them. Everything is in excellent condition aesthetically and functionally.

I am asking $550 (retail is $949). I will be around most of the day Thursday and Friday for pick up. This is located in the California Bay Area. (Shipping is probably not realistic due to the size/weight of the box.)

you'll find new rattles in your car that you never new existed!

Sick sub, I've always wanted one. If I still had my 325i, i'd throw it in.

Bump, price has been lowered to $550 for forum members.

My strong preference is a local Bay Area buyer, I can even drive to meet you within reason. I would really rather not pack/ship this monster.

Thanks! :buttrock

to OP, sick setup, my friend has a 10w7 in the same box in his acura rl and its crazy loud, GL with sale!

to machiavelli, yes, it will fit in your m3, but post installation, you will have about 12 square inches of room left for any given item. this thing is huge, no joke.

Good luck getting that thing in your 99 m3. I have the same box and sub but just in a ten and I barely got it in there. The twelve box should be bigger. I had to take out the back seats to get it in. Good Luck

it rattles the entire car. It sounds awesome though because the M3's are so well insulated.

FWIW this box is only ~ an inch larger in each dimension.

15.25 in. x 32.00 in. x 19.25 in. vs 17.00 in. x 34.00 in. x 20.50 in.

This thing hits crazy hard. Yet it is remarkably musical at the same time. Definitely worth a listen on a friend's car/audio shop if you have never heard one.

Bump - price is now $500 for forum members paying cash.

Please note that this box can be shipped, but shipping rates will vary from $110-150 and there is a high risk of damage due to the size, weight and shape of the box. (I will include insurance in the shipping cost.)

what amp were you running with it?

It was driven with a MB Quart RAA2400. In the bridged configuration is makes about 800 watts rms.

Definitely makes your hair stand up! :evil2

Can't do $400. There are several people in the area who are interested, but no one who has followed through to pick it up yet.

If you're serious, shoot me a PM.

Thanks,
Matt
