What is it you want? e21gangsta 11-07-2007, 05:34 PM ENGINE, my bad winstontj 11-07-2007, 05:37 PM cheapest motor rebuild - FREE... do nothing and keep driving itwhere are you? oh - CA... Unless you have a really bad problem I'd leave it alone - rebuilds get expensive... head work, valves, guides, seals, springs, pistons, rings, cams, blah...Why not pick up a cheap-o used motor for $100 and throw that in? EricDJ 11-07-2007, 05:49 PM Yeah, I could use a little seal work and adjustments. If it comes to rebuild, then it'll get a power increase. For now, if it goes, fine. When I get ready to paint, then i'll pull the motor and stuff. Layne 11-07-2007, 07:29 PM Any attempt at a cheap rebuild is not at all worth it. Buy a decent used motor, or go all out (at least $2k). |
