$489.95 shipped anywhere in the continuous 48 states for Bimmerforums members. This covers the HD or Sports.

This set includes the BRAND NEW rear updated shock from Bilstein. You may not get the updated rear shock from a place that has old stock on hand, so if you buy from us, an authorized Bilstein dealer and you know you will be getting the latest and greatest from Bilstein. The old B36-1525 and 1526's are out of production and have been replaced by a new larger diameter main piston, shock rod and shock body. This was done to impove the life of the rear shock by distributing side loads much more efficiently.

If you have the old version of the E36 rear shock and you have a rear shock failure that is covered under warranty, your shocks will be replaced with the new version! This only applies to customers that purchased shocks directly from Turner Motorsport.

To get free shipping just enter "bimmerforums" in the "Special Instructions" window and I will personally remove the shipping charge from you order.

Turner Motorsport is an authorized Bilstein dealer. What does that mean to you?

It means that we get our Bilsteins direct from Bilstein North America, not from a third party distributor such as Worldpac, so you know you are getting new product and the latest revision available, not something that has been sitting on a shelf in some warehouse. It also means that we handle all Bilstein technical support questions and all warranty claims in house! We are one of the few dealers in North America that is authorized to do all warranty evaluations and replacements right here. Only an authorized Bilstein dealer can offer you such quick service and turn around. A shop that buys Bilstein from a third party distributor can't come close to this customer and warranty support! Super low, hard to pass up prices on Bilstein usually comes with little or no after-sale support, so a couple more bucks to buy from us may pay off big time in the future.

Would the set for the 2001 Z3 Coupe 3.0 have the updated rear shocks?

Z3 has specific rear Bilsteins, no need for an update.

Finding a better price on Bilstein? Run it by us, we will do our best to match or beat that price. Since we are a factory authorized Bilstein distributor we can usually offer super competitive pricing, so after doing your price research shop us last and we will see what we can do for you. We may not be able to match everyone, but you may not be getting the same thing, in other words, when you buy from us you get a lot more. Let me explain...

Word to the wise: Before ordering Bilstein shocks make sure you are getting them from an authorized Bilstein distributor. You can call Bilstein North America toll free to verify this at (800) 745-4636 or (800) 537-1085. The benefit from ordering from an authorized dealer like us is, you are backed by factory support for warranty, you get technical support and service are direct from the source and you know you are getting the latest version of that application.

Even better, Turner Motorsport is the only Bilstein distributor on Bimmerforums that is authorized by Bilstein North America to do warranty evaluations and warranty replacement in house. That means no down time and immediate turn around on all Bilstein warranty claims! You can't match that kind of service or turn around time.

Also, our Bilsteins are purchased direct from Bilstein North America and we can ship direct to you from our warehouse here in Massachusetts, or direct from Bilstein's warehouses in Raliegh, North Carolina or San Diego, California. So with warehouses shipping from three locations, shipping times typically take no longer than 1-2 days to most customers!

In addition, we install Bilsteins in our shop on all models of BMW's. Got a tech or install question? We probably have the answer since we have factory trained techs that have installed Bilsteins thousands of times.

Finally, got a truck, RV, SUV or another car you need Bilsteins for? Check out our sister site, www.bilsteinshocks.com! We offer free shipping on orders over $200. We stock in house most of the popular applications, not just BMW! Here's one rack of many here at TMS...

What is the diff. between Sport and HD ?

which one do I need if I dont' track my car ..but yet.. I want to have a tighter corner but not up to a point where I can't go over any speed bump or have to avoid even the smallest pot-hole ?

someone suggested that I should get the "Bilstein BTS" said.. and then someone pointed out if I buy the shock and spring seperate.. it might be cheaper.. so.. in that case.. should I go for Sport or HD ?

thanks

If you plan to lower your car you want to use the sports. While valving is very close to the HD, the Sports are shorter internally so you won't risk bottoming out the shock when used with lowering springs.
