I just picked up a new 07 Z4C si a week ago. I couldn't walk away from the dealer incentive. :) Z4 way back was the first BMW I fell in love with, and a few years later it became a reality. :redspot

However, I have noticed a few issues with the car and I hope some people can shine some light on the issues. Of course I will take the car to dealer for repair/adjustments, but I want to go in well educated.

1. rattle from the trunk. I tracked it down to the inside trunk close door handle by the trunk lock. It sounds like something's lose. Is this common with coupes?
2. I just noticed this tonight. With engine running, my rear license plate light flickers. It flickers like a 3-way light bulb; full intensity, half way, and dim. And it just cycles thru. Has ANYONE had that on their cars? This is my first german car and I'm a little scared because I heard so many times that german cars are mechanically superior, but electronically inferior.
3. Passenger side cupholder gets stuck. Sometimes you need to prank it out.

I love this car, but I want the above issues fixed.

I Can speak for the crappy cup holders.:madHad my passenger side replaced when I had 250 mi. on it.:(I don't use them ,there just for looks.:D
