Both my ASC and ABS lights are on and have been for a while now. I suspect that one of the wheel speed sensors (ABS sensors) is toast. Anyone encounter this before? Also, anyone know how to test to see which sensor is not working without a code reader? Thx!

I think it is one of the wheel speed sensors as well. A friend of mine had the same occurance. Are none of the wires torn? I suspect a bmw computer could tell you which one is wrong... Other than that you could just buy one and connect it one by one.. hopefully they are all the same. :dunno

thinking that there is no real easy way to detect a bad sensor, I brought my car into a local shop and they read the codes for me. Looks like the left front sensor needs to be replaced. Ordered the part and should be in this week. Going to do the swap myself. Thanks for the views and the reply!
