s50 motor out of a 95 m3. 110K miles. money shiffted bad compression on cylinder #6. I dont know the extent of the damage, I bought the car like this and just swapped in another motor.
complete long block, oilpan to valve cover, pretty much everything else was reused on my new motor.
$1K obo
if it dosnt sell complete within a week or two im willing to part it out:buttrock

You mean the valvetrain, the head might be ok depending on how bad it was money shifted.

so. there were no intentions of using it other then for testing and gather data, so i can build the head sitting in my garage. no point in destroying a perfectly good head for testing

so. there were no intentions of using it other then for testing and gather data, so i can build the head sitting in my garage. no point in destroying a perfectly good head for testing

i have noticed quite a few times that when the motor is over revved, the valve head pops off and rattles around in the cylinder just destroying the head in the domed area. but you can be lucky and only have bent valves. with the head still on the car it is a crap shoot. but if you need it for diagnostic or measuring purposes then it doesn't rally matter if that area is dead.

yeah i know. thats why i was looking for "bad" head and not a good one.
