so i spilled a cup of coffee in my power window switch, which started smoking heavly from back right switch, so i just disconected it and waited for it to dry. about 4 hours later i plug it in again to roll the window up and it starts smoking again, so i disconected it. As soon as i got back to my place i ran it under the sink, and let it soak in some water (hopeing to clean what ever it was that was causing it to short off of it). long story short, i plugged it in to test and its still smoking, and i just F'ed on this one? i know im not the first person to spill on that switch, if i do have to replace it how much am i looking at?

Switches aren't crazy expensive. A few are usually thrown around on ebay.

Shouldn't be drinking in your bmw anyway. Just be lucky it didnt get into the neutral saftey switch and fry some part of the tranny.
