haha Qsilver, sorry I missed that, I didn't know you could have a clock! I'll keep the full OBC though ;)

BTW, does the OBC chime if you have your seatbelt on when you start the car? I put my seatbelt on today and then started the car, and noticed that it was a little quiet. I also didn't know that you could reset the AVG MPG function (learned that from your thread). Mines been stuck on 18.1 mpg and I don't know how accurate that is.

Just an FYI...most dealers will INCORRECTLY sell you item #10. That is the WRONG bulb because it is only a 6volt bulb...which will burn out in about 6 months and you'll be right back at the dealer buying more.

The correct bulb and part number is #7 in the diagram...it is a 12v bulb and has the same color base as the original bulbs that's already in your OBC.

yes...I experience the same thing...if I click on the seat belt first...I get the warning...BUT....no ding, ding, ding. :)

Who's got the write up to do this? I've saved a full OBC and I still have my parts car with the wiring still in it. I sold the e34 I had that had it and the one I kept doesn't. It bugs me sometimes too.

Do you get any audible alert now...even if you leave your lights on or keys in the ignition?

If not, then the problem isn't your OBC...its the chime (gong) for the OBC. Your gong could be disconnected, or dead...if it's dead...you can get a new or used one to replace it.
