whats crackin ppl , I have been checking out the bmw forums for awhile now and finaly decided to join . I am from the milwaukee area and had my 96 bmw 318ti for about a month now hehe picked it up for $1500 and a 30gig ipod lol (just for argument sakes I'm not a noob when it comes to bmws well any car in genaral mechanic here) I have done a few things to it : cold air intake ( big deal ) down pipe back 2 1/4 high flow cat dynomax muffler , drilled and slotted rotors (guy gave them to me for free with the car along with new winter tires on steelies) and a 25 to 40 shot of spray (depending on my mood ) and i have a full stand alone engine management waiting to be put in. ( im lazy ) i got the car for a daily driver but it was just a little slow for me now its nice and peppy . I did like the fact that it was torquey enough to drift in its stock form without being turboed or S/C it was a nice change of pace from drifting my 88 mr2 S/C ....well im trailing on I need some sleep any way hello all ........ oh and since i cant post links/pics wtf ? add me on myspace to see the pics name is modifiedscc

May I ask why you're going standalone when there's a LOT of room left to work on the 318 before it's needed?

well i have it laying around from a sunfire im not going to need it on (fully built) so i might as well use iit on the 318 . sometime in spring im most likely getting the head work done so it will give me something to do with the car is being stored for winter , besides this way i can ulock the full potential of it being N/A well on top of the spray . why have a $700 paper weight laying around hahahaha
