I just had my late teen years catch up to me, something that I havent done in over 5 years.

I was heading down Lombard Dr. NW, in Gig Harbor, just before it curves over to the left and turns into Hunt Street NW, when I came up on a pretty new Subaru STi. The STi was going a little below the speed limit, probably talking on his cell or somethin, so I went to pass him at the first passing zone that I could. I could tell that he wasnt too happy about it, it attempted to try and speed up to not allow me to get ahead, failing to do so...

A little distance up, theres a nice down and up hill that has a nice twist to it, I slowed down as much as I could just before the first twist, gunned up right at the tip, the STi doing the same, as I continued to accelerate, I continued to gain a nice distance ahead of the STi, then slowed down to wait up for him after the twisty hills. When he cought up to me right at the first straight away, he then attempted to pass me, I shifted down to 2nd, gunned it right when he was parallel to me and again, I SMOKED HIM! I went up to about 95mph just before I had to slow down before Wollochet Dr. NW, Came up to the red stop light, got in the left turn lane to head towards the freeway, went the normal speed limit until I got to the exit ramp, east bound to Tacoma, the STi taking the same rout, and gunned it as hard as I could on the hard twisted exit ramp, again, getting a far distance ahead of the STi.

-My adrenalin is still going lol.

Thats normally how I drive as well, normally with the thought of "what!? you think that I am in the mood to jeopardize my nicer ride than yours!?" lol

your sig makes it look like you have suspension too.

Thats funny, I do have suspension, its just not fully installed yet, I have the PSS9 coil over kit, the rear is installed, the front I will hopefully install tomorrow if I dont get swamped with customers.

Another reason it looks like it has suspension is because I have 235 fronts and 265 rears (tires) on 19" rims.

My rims are actually very light weight. very. they obviously smoked the STi.
Even if they were heavy, the larger tire size makes up for it.

tomato tomato.

Try rocking some 17" SSR's or BBS's sometime. You'll be amazed. Plus...tires are waaaay cheaper.

For anyone to buy a good set of BBS's or SSR's shouldnt have any issues paying top dollar for tires... :shifty

116$ a piece for RT-615's from Vulcan! =)

Anything else and you're just getting screwed. I have never shown such utter disregard for my tires. These are the best tires I've ever owned, they grip better than my S03's (which were 245 all the way around) and these are 235! And they're half the price of any other tire that I'd consider getting.

I bought my wheels for $1200 and came with a good set of R-Compounds.

One of the main reason I bought my wheels is because I got them brand new, with brand new tires for $1050

The wheels, O.Z. Classics, are worth over $800 each and the tires, Michelin Pilot Sports, are worth over $300 each.

So $4400 worth of tires and wheels for a little over $1000, cant complain.

They may not be tits on my car, but I haven been getting plenty in my car!

Amazing.. I never realized O.Z. made wheels that expensive.

easy, my fronts, staggered 1" are actually worth $820 each and the rears, staggered 3" are actually worth $950 each.

just go to tirerack.com and do a search for a 2002 M3, click on "by brand", scroll down to O.Z. and you will see that they go for as high as $1200 each.
