I've had my 2001 740il for about a month now and find this message board incredibly helpful..

I am an avid Stern fan and have been without Howard for a month and can't take it anymore..

I also don't have the funds to upgrade my MKIII to an MKIV, replace the radio and buy the BMW Sirius tuner, so I am planning on installing my Sirius Starmate for now..


I already picked up the adapter that turns the flashlight into a power socket, but wanted to get some advise as to how to run the Sirius antenna..

Any advice or experience?

I've done lot's of research and utlimately think I will be removing the rear pillar cover to snake the satellite antenna through the doorwells and up into the glovebox..

has anyone done this?
