Massachusetts is in the process of reforming the government regulated program into a competitive pricing system.

*According to my research
I saw a blurb on the news the other day, and I decided to do some research on it this morning.

from the links it seems rates would be better but it doesnt make sense to me

if the # of writers has decreased was it because it was regulated at too high a price? seems mass rates were good compared to the raping we get in RI

I think we have enough massholes up here already, thanks! :D

If you don't want to mess around with our taxes, gun laws, and agree that you should pay for shit yourself and the government should pay for next to nothing, come on up.

Otherwise, stay in MA or CA or wherever the hell you are.. :evil2

People move out of NH, not to it.

LOL, you make it sounds like people move to MA on purpose.

Don't get me wrong, I like NH because I love fireworks, and cheap beer/cigarettes.
But I love MA because I love my teeth and civilization (and no cows don't count towards the household census count).

lol.

NH quoted me over $8000 for the year for my 540. Yes $8000!

I was insured there for an extremely short period of time with my 180k 318, and hated it. I don't think this reform is going to do much. It may drive rates down a little, but its not going to change lives for people with poor driving records like the media has been making it seem. :dunno

Yes, but it should provide a good break for people with good/great driving records. They're the cash cows for insurance companies, and the insurance companies left MA because there was nothing they could do to compete for the good drivers business.

Nothing significant will happen unless national insurers come back.

Insurance for BMW Z3, MB ML430, Acura TL 3.2 in SC = insurance for z3 in MA. I really like it with no lube.
