This morning I was finishing up getting some gas. I looked over to the intersection and saw a nice black Z4 waiting at a redlight. I got in my car and merged with the intersection. As I was merging the light turned green and the Z4 pulls up next to me.
At first glance I thought it was two girls. The car then proceeded to pace me following in and out of traffic. As traffic cleared up I took another look over, it was actually some dood and his female companion. She looks over and waves and says to me "I love your car! the color is awesome!" I gave her a thumbs up and said "Thanx." Then comes the redlight, at this time she is talking to the dood in a whispering voice looking back and forth at me. At first I didn't know what to expect until it happened.... :rev: Goes the Z4. She looks over at me, claps and starts bawling out laughing. I then asked, "Are you serious?" The guy then said, "Yea man, lets do this!" I said, "Okay, lets go from a rolling start, I spin bad off the line and I don't want to attract too much attention from tire burnout," The guy nods, "Okay, sure tell me when."
Moments later, light turns green; we both steadily take off. I look over and told the girl to count to three, then we will go. At this time the cars behind us started honking because we were literally doing 15 mph. One.... Two.... Three, I waited until they took off then I dumped my clutch. After they took off, I clutched in, bought it up to 6000k and let her lose. The rear broke a little loose then traction came a split second later. Oh My! The Z4 was an automatic :az:
As I was going by in 1st gear, the girl looked over with that, "OMFG look." I continued to put multiple bus lengths on them until I let off at 70mph.
The couple pulled up next to me at the redlight and she told me, "Damnit, you almost made me go deaf, your exhaust is way loud." We BS'ed a little bit then parted our seperate ways.
