i'm gonna give this stuff a try.

question is, do i need to purchase the kit that contains the cleaner and the dye? or can i just purchase the dye alone and use something like simple green for the cleaner.

TIA.

also, if you know of a place that has a good price on this stuff, let me know!

Rob you might want to run a few searches in the Show-n-Shine Forum. There was some discussion there a few months ago about Forever Black and similar products.

This search link MIGHT work? (http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=271040&sortby=&sortorder=)

I think you should get the kit and do the whole thing. I am going to get something like that this weekend for my mouldings :D

this stuff called forever black. it's a dye that makes the moldings look all black and new again.

you can either get the kit, which contains a 4oz bottle of pre-cleaner and 4oz bottle dye... or you can get the dye by itself, which is 8oz. price for either is ~$12.
