I was coming home from wok, on the i95 around 4:40PM I rear ended a commercial van...


You how everyone slows the f down because of the sun in their eyes, I was trying to use my tom tom and all of a sudden traffic came to a stop, but I was busy with the tom tom, and BOOM!!!


No air bags, car drives find, no CE/ does not heat up, the head light are ok, fender are ok too

I drove the car home, took it to a shop I got a quote for $2,000

I need a hood, if you have extra one pls help...


I just order the an M bumper, grill, I might repaint the car I don't kn...

Man that blows. I always try to keep my gadgets my last priority in my car and I have a ton of them. Good thing the bags didnt go off and its minor damage. No worries, she will be back to tip top form!

Take your eye off the road for 1 second and you can bet somethings gonna happen.
Every time my girl starts pointing to stuff...And I look,I find myself almost getting into an accident.
Adjust my radio. An idiot is stopping at a green light.Even on the highway,no cars.......A tire will pop up in the road,or a fender/muffler/wood/HUGE HOLE, etc
I drive expecting things to happen the split second I take my eyes off the road.AND THEY DO
So,if you drive knowing that you can never take your eyes off the road,youll have far les more accidents and much more time to react to idiots trying to crash into you.
One tip.....Always have an escape route every moment you drive in case a tire falls off,hood flies open,idiot stops short,light/tree fall into the road.
And dont drive behind trucks/suv etc that you cant see traffic past them.
Keep an eye on the traffic ahead of the idiot in front of you.And always leave 1 car length per 15mph you travel.LAst tip, if your in a BEAMER,remember the guy in back of you prly has inferior brakes,so when u brake,keep an eye on the idiot behind you and be prepared to gas it and go onto the shoulder if he looks like hes gonna ram you.Ive saved myself from being rearended dozens of times like this. Especially when YOUR THE ONE stopping short.

BTW Danny Doo, the BMW auto line is referred to as "Bimmer". A "Beamer/Beemer/B-mer" is the BMW motorcycle. I had it wrong too so join the club of being corrected. LOL

Tom toms are killers really, they're just as dangerous if not more than talking on your mobile i think. Tom toms are legal and being on the phone isn't. Silly really. Bad luck dude, onwards and upwards though!

BMW was a major sponsor of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and donated a few state patrol cars to the state of Georgia as a PR stunt. I believe local jursidictions had contests with their troopers to see who would get to drive the cars each quarter (perfect records, certain amount of tickets issued, no complaints, etc). The cars were pretty cool, and it would be really cool to get your hands on one now that they are retired.

BMW also made a few Olympic edition 5 series (e34), as pictured in the attached:
